Standard Chartered Bank offers various methods to pay your credit card dues. There are 4 options to make payments online. These methods are convenient and can be done from the comfort of your own home. You can also make payments from anywhere and on-the-go. Standard Chartered also offers payment modes that are offline.
Standard Chartered Credit Card Bill Payment – Online
You Can pay Standard Chartered Credit Card Bill through following Online Methods:
- Pay Credit Card Bill Through NEFT.
- Standard Chartered Credit Card Bill Payment Billdesk.
- Standard Chartered Credit Card Bill Payment By Online / Internet Banking.
- VISA credit card payment.
- Standard Chartered Credit Card Bill Payment Through Billdesk.
NEFT / IBFT – You can make payments towards your credit card bill using the National Electronic Funds Transfer.
- Login to your online banking account and fill in the beneficiary details.
- Enter your name as it appears on the credit card under the beneficiary name.
- Enter your card number as the Payee account number.
- Your bank name will be Standard Chartered Bank.
- Enter the correct IFSC code and the branch address.
- Select your payment account type and enter the amount payable.
- Inter Bank Fund Transfer is provided by Standard Chartered that allows customers to transfer funds from their Standard Chartered Bank account to pay their credit card bill.
Online Banking – Login to your Standard Chartered Internet Banking account to make quick and easy payments. You can view your statement online and choose to pay the minimum amount due, the total amount or any amount of your choice.
VISA credit card payment – You can transfer funds from your Standard Chartered Bank account to any VISA credit card in India. The payment takes up to 3 working days.
Billdesk – Use Billdesk to make the payment on your credit card. Simply select your bank and card type. Enter your card number and the amount to be paid. You will be redirected to your bank’s payment interface. Authenticate the transactions and make the payment.
Standard Chartered Credit Card Payment – Offline
- Cheque – You can drop a cheque or demand draft made in favor of “Standard Chartered Bank Card no. followed by your 16 digit Card number”. Drop this cheque in any of the drop boxes provided by Standard Chartered Bank. Cheques take at least 3 days to clear.
- Cash – You can make cash payments at any Standard Chartered Bank Branch. Fill in the slip and hand it over along with the amount payable to the teller. The teller will make the payment and hand you a receipt.
- Phone Banking – You can call the phone banking helpline provided by Standard Chartered and request for a transfer to be made from your bank account to pay your credit card bill.
- Auto debit – You can set standing instructions by authorizing Standard Chartered to deduct the credit card bill amount from your bank account every month. You can opt to pay the full amount, the minimum due or a fixed amount. You need to download the form, fill it and post it to Standard Chartered Bank.
- Payment Apportionment – For those who hold multiple SC credit cards or EMI accounts, Standard Chartered will distribute your payment to clear your outstanding balances in a manner in which will keep your credit score in good standing. The bank reserves the right to prioritize payment on overdue accounts before making payments on other accounts. If you wish for Standard Chartered to not allocate money in this manner, you can specify clearly on the reverse of the cheque, or by calling the bank. There is also an option to not apply payment apportionment by registering for “Do Not Apportion”. You can either call or write to the Standard Chartered Customer Care. Cash payments will never be apportioned.
