HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment – Online modes:
HDFC Bank Accounts: Customers holding HDFC Bank accounts can easily make online payments towards their HDFC Bank credit card using the below-given modes.
- HDFC Bank NetBanking: To use the HDFC Bank Net Banking facility, HDFC savings, and current account holders will have to register for this service. Only after registration, online payments can be done by users. Customers can link their HDFC Bank credit cards to NetBanking, after logging into their HDFC Bank NetBanking account. The HDFC Bank credit card has to be linked using the ATM PIN. Customers can view HDFC Bank credit card information, unbilled transactions and get credit card statements for up to the last six months using the NetBanking facility. Every NetBanking account will show the credit limit, billed/ unbilled transactions, due dates, accrued rewards points and outstanding amount. HDFC Bank credit card users can also use the Hot listing facility available under NetBanking to block lost or stolen cards and also place requests for card replacements. HDFC Bank will charge a fee of Rs. 100 for this service.
- HDFC Bank Mobile Banking Application: HDFC Bank credit card users can also use the HDFC Bank Mobile Banking application to make outstanding bill payments. After installing the mobile application, customers have to log in to the application using their Customer ID, access the Credit Card tab and choose the option “Credit Card Payment “. Payments can be done here by customers using their HDFC Bank Savings Accounts. HDFC Bank offers enhanced security for all credit card accounts on the mobile application through 128-bit SSL protection.
- HDFC Bank Mobile Banking via Browser: HDFC Bank customers can also make payments via MobileBanking on a browser. After logging into their NetBanking account, customers can access the Credit Card tab and choose the option “Credit Card Payment”. Payments can be done here by customers using their HDFC Bank Savings Accounts.
- ATM Funds Transfer: Credit Card bill payments can be easily done at an HDFC Bank ATM across the country by customers. This service is available 24/7 to HDFC Bank customers. The outstanding amount available on an HDFC Bank credit card can be transferred from a savings account or a current account to the customer’s credit card account.
- Autopay: HDFC Bank customers can use the Autopay option to set standing instructions for auto debits on their HDFC Bank accounts. The total monthly outstanding amount or the minimum amount due on the HDFC Bank credit card can be repaid using the Autopay facility. The HDFC Bank savings account should be held by a single customer or as a joint account, with an ‘either’ or ‘any’ signing mandate.
Non-HDFC Bank Accounts:
- Non-HDFC Bank NetBanking: Customers holding savings accounts with other banks can also use the NetBanking facility to make payments towards their HDFC Bank credit card bills. Users have to register for this service and log in to NetBanking to make payments.
- Non-HDFC Bank NetBanking – Procedure: When a payment is initiated by a customer, certain details pertaining to the HDFC credit card have to be provided namely, HDFC Bank credit card number, email address and the outstanding amount. After this, the customer has to select the required net banker and then click on Pay. This Non-HDFC Bank NetBanking platform has been powered by BillDesk, through which the user will be directed to the payment interface of the chosen net banker. The credit card bill payment has to be confirmed here by the user by entering authentication details like username and password. As soon as the payment confirmation has been done, the customer’s bank account will get debited with the required amount. An online transaction confirmation will be given to the customer from HDFC Bank along with the Transaction Reference Number. Additionally, an email will also be sent to the customer’s mail id as an acknowledgment of the payment.
- NEFT: Other bank customers can easily transfer funds from their savings accounts to their HDFC Bank Credit Card accounts using HDFC Bank’s NEFT service. Users have to use the IFSC code, “HDFC0000128” to make NEFT payments towards their HDFC Bank credit cards.
- Visa Money Transfer:
Using the HDFC Bank’s VISA CardPay service customers can make payments towards any other bank’s Visa credit card. Multiple credit card bills can be paid through this service. Customers have to log in through NetBanking, select Third Party Transfer, choose Visa CardPay as the option and make the transfer. The maximum transaction amount permitted for a Visa CardPay transaction is Rs 49,999. HDFC Bank charges a fee of Rs. 5 for each Visa CardPay transaction.
HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment – Offline modes:
Over the counter Cash Payment:
HDFC Bank customers can visit any HDFC branch to make payments in cash towards their outstanding credit card bills. Any cash payment that is made at an ATM or over-the-counter at a branch will attract a cash processing fee of Rs. 100 for every payment done.
Cheque Payment:
HDFC Bank customers can also deposit a local cheque at drop boxes available at ATMs and HDFC branches to make payments for their HDFC Bank credit cards. The cheque that is deposited should be payable to the HDFC Bank Credit Card account. Customers can use the wide network of over 7346 HDFC ATMs and 2201 branches to deposit a cheque. HDFC Bank will credit the local cheque payment to the credit card account in just three working days.
