The following paragraph will talk about the common reasons as to why LPG subsidy is not credited to the bank account of the individual along with solutions for the same.
- The subsidy has not been received despite cylinder being delivered. Once the cylinder has been delivered, it takes individuals a period of 2-3 days for their subsidy to be reflected in their bank account. In case, individuals have not received their subsidy even after this period, they can contact the DBTL Grievance Cell.
- The transaction has failed. In case the subsidy has been sent but the same has not been reflected in the individual’s bank account, he/she must visit their bank branch with their Aadhaar card and inquire about the same.
- The subsidy has been transferred but it is not seen in the bank account. In case there is no failed transaction and the amount has been transferred but the individual has not received, then individuals can visit the bank branch with their Aadhaar card. Alternatively, they can link their Aadhaar card to another bank account.
- The cylinder has been booked but individuals have not received LPG subsidy. Individuals are advised to wait for a minimum period of 4 days post which they can call the toll free number 18002333555. The customer care representatives will take care of the rest. Updates will be sent to the individual’s mobile number.

At times, when you have any question or doubt about the LPG subsidy scheme, you can call upon the DBTL Helpline number. A common call center has been set up by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
