Can I pay HDFC credit card bill through SBI credit card?
You cannot pay a particular bank’s credit card bill using another credit card. It can be paid by any other Bank account/internet banking etc.
If you do not have the money to pay your HDFC Bank credit card bill, here are a few options:
- Let’s say the bill amount is x Rs. and you can pay max y Rs.(y may be 0 as well) by the due date, you can call HDFC credit card customer care and ask them to convert x-y Rs. to a 3 months/6 months EMI.
- You can initiate a Balance Transfer from SBI credit card and if your HDFC Bank card is a Visa card, the balance transfer will be done online within 3 working days. If it is a master card, then a Cheque will be generated through the system and you will receive the cheque by post.
- If none of the options work out it is always advised to pay the minimum amount of the bill to avoid any fines.
